Lucas Dussoulier was red-hot for France, finishing with 25 points against Greece

Lucas Dussoulier and his French teammates will go into the second round of the Dadu U16 European Championship undefeated, following their 70-59 win over Greece.

Averaging two points a game prior to Saturday night, Dussoulier stepped out of the shadows against Greece, hitting five-of-seven three-pointers on the way to recording a game-high 25 points.

Down by 11 at the end of the opening frame, Dussoulier spurred Les Bleus to life in the second frame, hitting from beyond the arc three times with Greece appearing helpless to halt a renewed French effort. At half-time France lead by four.

Greece remained close through the second half but when France's most consistent performer to date, Etienne Ory sunk a three with under two minutes remaining to put his team up by eight, French coach Tahar Assed-Liegeon could rest a little easier.

Ory finished up with 13 points.

Greek guard Dimitrios Stamatis again lead his team in scoring, picking up 14 points and six assists.
